Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake was born July 23rd, 1976. She's a NASCAR reporter and an Fox Sports college and basketball reporter. Prior to that, she was employed by ESPN where she contributed to SportsCenter to give pre and post-game reports and she also served as an official sideline reporter on behalf of SEC at ESPN basketball matches and college football matches. Spake is also an editor on behalf of SEC Network. This network is part of ESPN. Spake had previously worked for Speed Channel. She hosted NASCAR Nation's second edition (June-November 2005) as well as worked as a reporter in the initial edition (February through June 2005). Along with Marty Smith, she co-hosted Back Seat Drivers (a talk show) with Marty Smith. The previous jobs she held on air included stints at WCCB located in Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
